Fullscore Publishing has just launched two new editions, both of which are free pdf downloads and each in a new series. The Fullscore Piano Praxis* (pp) series includes only newly re-engraved editions, with some also newly rearranged or offered in multiple editions (easier keys or less intricate arrangements). Up to this point (August 2026), every Fullscore edition has been professionally re-engraved using Dorico software. However, during our research we have come across beautiful pieces that we consider need exposure to a wider piano-playing audience; given that these specific pieces can be found in perfectly readable old editions, our publishing focus has been on collecting them and promoting them in a new series called Fullscore Facsimile Folio (ff).

* Praxis is defined as 'the practical application, practice or realisation of a theory, idea, or lesson (art, science or skill), rather than just thinking about it.' Derived from an ancient Greek word for 'doing' or 'action', it represents the cycle of doing, reflecting, and changing.

Fullscore's piano focus is primarily on providing music for adult returners, many of whom will achieved a higher intermediate standard in their youth and are now finding time to both play more and discover a broader repertoire. There is so much sheet music that has been published but every pianist needs recommendations. Fullscore aims to provide interesting pieces that can be played by intermediate and above players; some may be on the easier side and can be sight-read for instant enjoyment, while others may take some time to work through and find the musical joy hidden inside them.

Overarching the whole of Fullscore Publishing is the aim to find lyrical pieces that are freely available on our website as pdf downloads. However, we all need to pay the bills! So, Fullscore has just published its first print edition, available exclusively from Amazon globally [link: http://bit.ly/4cTYzyF ] as a beautifully printed and bound sheet music book: Songs without Words, Book 1 is the first in this series. It features 6 women composers out of the 16 pieces included. Book 2 in the series will be published in summer 2026, with other books following, These will include a Facsimile Folio collection, along with a book of playful Gigues, and collections for Weddings, of Women Composers, lesser-known lyrical Baroque pieces and more...

Fullscore Publishing founder and editor, Nigel Edmund-Jones, writes: ‘The new Fullscore Facsimile Folio (ff) series expands the Fullscore Publishing catalogue for piano players and continues our free download pdf sheet music offering. Aimed primarily at adult returners who have achieved 'early intermediate' (and higher) standard, our focus continues to be on researching music archives for lyrical pieces that are ideal not just for playing for one's own enjoyment but also for those who are lucky to overhear those practice-makes-perfect moments!'
