William Byrd's Mass for Four voices is considered a masterpiece of the cathedral and church choral repertoire. Originally written with the Latin liturgical words for Mass, this edition carefully integrates English words for the Kyrie, Sanctus, Benedictus and Agnus Dei. Great care has been taken to integrate the English words for Common Worship into Byrd's masterful phrasing.

Included:

Lord have mercy (Kyrie Eleison)

Holy, holy, holy, Lord (Sanctus)

Blessed is he who comes (Benedictus)

Lamb of God (Agnus Dei)
